These are some pictures we took this weekend at a friends Open House. They have a beautiful home built in the early 1900's. They go over the top at Christmas and it is so beautiful! Enjoy all the pictures!
Love the house, and your Chrismas deco are lovely!!!! Is that peppermint cake I see? I had one as a little girl and always wanted to know how it was made.

Hi Brett, Sorry you've been sick! That was an amazing home...I love the old homes. The tree is amazing and that table...WOW! Gorgeous desserts! I think I am down as participating in Trim the Tree every Thursday but just wanted to confirm that. Looking forward to it! Susan
OH OH OH, I am in love with this old place! A tree on the porch even, how grand! Thanks, they have done this old home proud, looks wonderful. Thanks for sharing, I love these tours. Also, want to know the name and type of the colors of your living or dining room red paint and your kitchen green, they are great!! Linda
Hostess with the Mostess...at least thats the goal!
I am a twenty something (would love to say I could still round down to twenty, oh well, sad day) living in East Tennessee in "Mayberry" and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else! Things are slower, quieter, and kinder here.
I love to "put on the dog" whenever my husband can handle it. I am married to my favorite person who unfortunately doesn't share the same love of entertaining that I do. How unfortunate is that!
I am a planner. I love to plan. I will plan everything-even your life if you will let me!
This blog is mainly for me to sort out my thoughts and have all my plans in one place. I think it seems so organized to have a blog. Therefore, I must have one!
